The Space

The Downbeat Bar is in the basement of The Horizon Enterprise Building, with a foundation built on music that sets the tone to nourish your soul with curated Live Music, DJ sets, Playlists, and Listening centered experiences. 

Thursday - Sunday

Open from 4pm to 2am every week Thursday through Sunday. Comfort food refined, by yours truly. Drinks made proper. And an atmosphere vibrant with music curated for the soul.  A place where music leads, people follow, and the night unfolds naturally.

Elevated Comfort Food

With a Southern Soul. Familiar favorites, thoughtfully refined for a night out. Start with crisp, classic bites like a wedge-style salad and house-made rolls, then settle into hearty staples like chicken–sausage–shrimp soup with red beans. Mains hit the sweet spot between cozy and craveable: mashed potatoes with house gravy, shrimp & grits, a flame-grilled smash burger, and a standout wagyu steak. Save room for dessert—the mango sticky grits with vanilla ice cream is a fun, unexpected finish.
